To backup your website through the Plesk control panel, simply follow these steps.

Step 1.

Log in to the Control Panel and click on the Websites & Domains button.

Step 2.

Click the Backup Manager button.

Step 3.

Click the Back Up button.

Step 4.

Enter name for back up in Add prefix to backup name box.

Step 5.

Select Domain configuration and content radio button.

Step 6.

Select All configuration and content except mail from dropdown menu.

Step 7.

DO NOT select the Suspend domain until backup task is completed this can cause issue where the domain will not unsuspend if the backup fails.

Step 8.

Once the backup is completed you can download it from the main backup screen by clicking on the Disk icon.
